INSTRUCCIONES PARA UNA ACCIÓN DIRECTA CONTRA EL CALENTAMIENTO GLOBAL Video didáctico: Ante el hecho de que hay mas de mil millones de personas negras en el mundo, y teniendo en cuenta que la superficie corporal de un ser humano es de 2 metros cuadrados y que el color negro es el de mayor captación de calor, podemos considerar que las personas de esta piel son, en gran parte, responsables de el fenómeno de calentamiento global desde el origen mismo de la humanidad. En el presente video, procederemos a pintar un negro de blanco, con la única finalidad de reducir la captación de radiación solar por parte de esta persona. No siendo partidario de soluciones masivas y compulsivas, propongo la acción individual responsable y solidaria, ofreciendo a todos una forma de ejecutarlo. A: Es fundamental la participación de una persona de piel de color negro. Única condición, pues no tiene relevancia alguna en el problema del calentamiento global cuestiones de nacionalidad, religión o condición social. Tampoco es importante la relación que establezcamos con esta persona. B: Siendo esta libre, puede participar del proyecto en forma voluntaria y gratuita o aceptar honorarios, pues la envergadura del problema no acepta estas disquisiciones. C: Es imprescindible que esté totalmente desnudo. D: El material es pintura blanca, especial para piel humana. Las sustancias que se recomiendan son: Henna, pinturas naturales, maquillajes corporales en base acuosa u oleosa. En nuestro caso emplearemos una pintura blanca base acuosa. Estimamos aproximadamente un litro y medio. E: Es muy importante tener en cuenta que estamos pintado un ser vivo y -además del acabado- para la comodidad de la persona de color negro debe secar rápido y ser hipoalergénica, con lo que es recomendable utilizar material al agua que permite su rápido secado en exteriores y al sol. Otra técnica es el latex, catalogada como una de las más sencillas; relieves y formas se cubren muy fácilmente con este material, logrando resultados espectaculares empleando un rodillo, la forma de aplicar ese látex es en forma gruesa, en pasadas cargadas y deteniéndose en las cavidades. F: El personal, una vez tomado los recaudos del material, debe ser idóneo en tareas de pintura. Un pintor es lo mas efectivo y el rodillo es la herramienta mas eficiente. G: El proceso de secado en exteriores extrema la eficiencia del procedimiento, y a su vez verifica el resultado del proyecto. Los convocamos a sumarse al mismo. El problema es acuciante y es imprescindible la participación de todos y cada uno de nosotros: Pintores y Pintados.		INSTRUCTIONS FOR A DIRECT ACTION AGAINST GLOBAL WARMING Didactic video: As a matter of fact there are now over a billion black people in the world. Considering that each humanbody has a surface of two square meters and that black is the colour that attracts more heat, we could attest people with that kind of skin are -in a great proportion- responsible for the global warming phenomenon ever since the origins of mankind. In this video we shall paint a black man white, with the sole purpose of reducing the attraction of solar radiation by this person. Being myself contrary to massive and compulsive solutions, I propose individual, responsible and solidary action, offering everyone a way of implementing it. A: The involvement of a person with black coloured skin is essential. And that is the only prerequisite whatsoever, because matters of nationality, religion or social condition have no relevance as to the issue of global warming. The kind of relationship we establish with this person is of no importance either. B: A free person could either be involved in the project as a volunteer or accept the payment of a certain fee. But the sheer scope of the problem at hand prevents such contentions. C: The person must, however, be entirely nude. D: The stuff to be used is white paint, specifically made for human skin Recommended substances are: Henna, natural pigments and body make-up whether oil-based or water-based. In this case we will be using water-based white paint, estimating approximately one and a half litres of it. E: It is very important to bare in mind that we are painting a living being. Beyond finishing -and for the black coloured person’s comfortpaint must dry fast and also be hypoallergenic, so water-based materials are highly recommended. They dry rapidly when out in the open and beneath the sun. An alternative technique would be LATEX, deemed as one of the simplest: protrusions and forms are very easily covered, with impressive results when using a paint roller. Latex should be applied thickly, with heavy strokes mindful of cavities. F: Materials having been taken care of, personnel also must be suitable for the painting tasks at hand. A painter is the most effective option and a paint roller is the most efficient tool. G: Outdoors drying procedures optimize the efficiency of measures taken and -at the same time- verify the results of the project: the person, now white, suffers no heat. You are all summoned to join in. It’s a pressing issue, and the involvement of each and every one of us (painters and painted) is crucial.
